People who work in housing sometimes use words and phrases you might not know. This list explains some of the more complicated terms that might be in your letters in simple language.

Landlords can get advice, resources and training from different organisations. You may also be able to get financial help with certain types of repairs or improvements.

The Loan Calculator from the Money Advice Service can help you work out how long it will take you to pay off your loan, based on your current monthly payments. If you're having money problems, it's best to get some free, independent advice from a charity before you take on any further debt.
